29 Days, Day 12

Today, on Day 12 of 29 Days of Thankfulness, I'm thankful for friends from overseas who've come through Charlotte for various reasons over the last year. I'm thankful for: Laura(my training center classmate and Odessa roommate) who visited twice; for getting to spend time with Mike & Nancy Elwood at church, lunch, and coffee(from SHARE- an organization that helps missionary families with education resources); for being able to hang out with Anna R. during her layover in Charlotte(her parents serve in Romania and I've been to their village twice); and for getting to host one of the girls from my Odessa church for several days. It was really special to be able to spend time with all of them in my home city. Poor Anna R. never made it out of the airport, but it was still great to be able to spend that time with her. =-)
