29 Days, Day 24

Today, on Day 24 of 29 Days of Thankfulness, I'm thankful for my local church body at Grace Bible Church. Though there are still fleeting moments when I feel slightly out of place, they act as if no time had passed at all and welcomed me right back in. And each and every time I return from traveling, person after person comes to ask how the trip was and to tell me that they were praying. Now that I serve with the junior highers, there are even more connections and it was a joy this morning to come back to hugs after being in Montana for the last two Sundays. This body has truly represented Christ to me. They've cared for me, loved on me, taught me, encouraged me, given me hugs, written me notes, cried with me, supported me, prayed with and for me, and I could go on and on. This is the body of Christ at work, and for that, I'm so thankful.
