29 Days, Day 13

Whoa, I almost forgot about posting today. Yikes! Some must-do-now stuff came up this evening for IM and I was running around a bit, from the phone to the computer, downstairs, back up again, taking lots of notes, etc., etc.. I almost forgot. ALMOST. But not quite. =-D By the way, I'm LOVING getting to know this class and the couple teaching this wk.(new to IM staff care) and am sooo thankful to be here at the training center these 9 days. And though I've been in loads and loads of pain  every day, all day, from that temporary crown(which most likely means a root canal when I get back), it's been just super being here! But I'll write about that later. Today, on the 13th Day of 29 Days of Thanksgiving, I'm sooo thankful for: my AWANA JV girls. There are only four of them, but it's just been such a joy getting to invest in their lives. They make me laugh, and astonish me with their knowledge about Christian life and their desire to learn and stand up for their faith. We've been studying about Justification, Sanctification, and Glorification. How many 12 and 13 yr. olds not only can explain the differences between those, but eagerly sit there and take notes? I'm so privileged and thankful to get to spend time with these girls.
