Today, on Day 27 of 29 Days of Thankfulness, I'm
thankful for God's faithfulness, and that no matter
what we manage to get ourselves into due to our
sinful nature, He remains faithful. I'm reminded of
these words:
Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father; There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not; As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be. Refrain Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed Thy hand hath provided; Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me! Summer and winter and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above Join with all nature in manifold witness To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love. Refrain Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide; Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! Refrain

Amen, Anna! Today, I quoted some of the words to "It Is Well With My Soul" to one of my clients at the Pregnancy Resource Center. And, although she had NEVER heard the hymn, she was very moved by it. God's Word, through these old hymns speak to our souls. Love you!
