Today I am thankful for the people that God has brought to be a part of my support team. It's been four years now since I began this journey and it's been amazing to see how God has provided for my needs through so many different people. Some gave one time gifts, others have been monthly. I've lost some supporters for various reasons, gained others, and still have most of the ones that committed from the beginning. Living on support is an incredibly faith building experience. Some missionaries don't believe they should ever let their needs be known(the George Mueller method), others believe in asking as many people as possible to commit to specific amounts, and others believe in letting their needs be known but not asking people individually. Regardless of what the method is, it is a very humbling experience that both challenges and grows your faith.
So today, on the 10th day of 29 Days of Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for those who've financially supported me through:
- five months of training, 2 1/2 years in Ukraine, ministry changes, 1 year of traveling around E. Europe to our staff, 8 camps, 25+ trips to visit staff/get new visas/go through trainings/raise support, life transitions, good/bad/joyful/challenging times, 11 months back in the States getting more education, etc.
God has been so faithful to provide for me through you all. I'm so blessed to have you as a part of my team!
