Day 15, Georgie

Today, on Day 15, I'm thankful for my Georgie. My mother got all offended on his behalf when I posted about Dogs last week. What she didn't know was that he gets his very own day of thankfulness. I'm thankful for 11 great years of companionship(well, 8 technically, since I was gone 3). I'm thankful for the companionship, for the love, for the many wonderful walks, for the crazy things that have happened with him(like jumping in a pond b/c he was afraid of the person coming toward him; or flying out the rear window, rolling under an oncoming car, racing down the street, and ending up at my mother's home 2 miles away; or stopping mid-walk to sit down, throw his head back, and howl at the firetruck coming down the road), for the great greetings when I return home. I'm also thankful that I could provide this wacky, OCD, paranoid dog a good home. He's a real sweetheart and I just love him.

He really liked the ball that Grandma found for him. For about 5 minutes.
