Bagel Tower. They finally started selling Philly Cream Cheese here on a regular basis, so what does that call for? Bagel making!
Coconut Cranberry Orange Bagels- so good!
Evidence that I'm alive and well and still smiling inspite of the meltdown that occurred last Saturday.
This week has been composed of some time with others, lots of Skype calls to friends and former interns, and personal time. I worked on figuring out how I was going to get things home without having the super expensive cost of shipping and think I've found the solution. But in order to figure it out, I had to pack every last thing, weigh it all, and then unpack it again. =-O Not fun, but necessary. My bookshelf has gradually been making its way back to the States via the training center teachers, who then mail the books home. Thank God for their willingness to help! This week 25 pds. of books are going home with a teacher who brought 25 pds. of study bibles.
I've been sick again this week, which is further proof that my body's stressed out and I really need a break. I never got over the cold that I had during my Slovakia/Romania trip and it turned into another sinus infection(or I never got rid of the first one). Thankfully, I have meds here, though, and am already seeing great improvement.
My remaining time in Odessa is going to fly by, with a rather busy schedule that starts tomorrow morning with the arrival of two friends from Eastern Ukraine. Pictures will follow!
