L'viv-Pt. 1

The building where I stayed. Definitely a bit scary at night, with no street lights and no lights in the stairwell.

A funeral procession making its way down one of the main streets. Can you see them carrying the casket on their shoulders?

These two were taken out the windows of where I was staying

I had the chance unexpectedly to reenter Ukraine through L'viv, my favorite city, so I decided to take a day and a half to have a bit of down time before returning to Odessa on the train. I was still a bit under the weather with my health, but both days I was there were absolutely beautiful and I enjoyed the chance to see a few more things in this beautiful city. I wanted to give you a bit of a look, though, at not just the gorgeous cathedrals, but also at what life looks like on the streets there. I try to keep people out of my pictures out of respect for them(unless I ask permission), but wanted you all to see the funeral procession, so I did my best to not be seen while taking that picture. I'll post a few more pictures tomorrow of some of the "grander" sights in L'viv.
