As many of you know, I spent June 3rd- 10th in Austria. It was originally intended to be a trip to renew my Ukrainian visa, but due to the work ethic in the Religious Affairs office here in Odessa, my paperwork was not completed until I returned from Austria. So the trip ended up being a vacation, minus the need to go back and forth to the Consulate in Vienna. I stayed in Baden (which is about 45 minutes by bus from Vienna)with old friends of my grandmother. Chris and Siegfried lived in Charlotte briefly back in the late 60's, became good friends with Grandma and still keep in touch. It was an absolute pleasure to get to meet them and spend a week with them. They were some of the most gracious and loving people that I have ever met and I was truly blessed by spending time in their presence. I saw so many beautiful places while I was there that I want to show you and tell you about, so I think that I will do a series of postings, as I did after Poland; a few pictures a day for several days. Also, if you'd like to see the entire album, click on the title and it will take you to my facebook album. Enjoy!

Wonderful! Will be glad to see them all again here! And, where does that leave the visa process? Has the paperwork actually gone to Kiev and back now? Will you go out of the country again any time soon? Love you! Mom PS I will Skype again on Fri, if that's good for you!
Mom, I'm not sure about Friday, remember? As soon as I find out when that group arrives, I will let you know. As for paperwork, yes, it is back in Odessa now, though I don't actually have it. I will have to do my visa work while I'm in the States.
Such pretty pictures. Some good ones to frame!
