Love Without Limits

This morning I read this passage in Job 11:

"vs.6b, Know therefore that God exacts from you less than your iniquity deserves.
vs.7   Can you search out the deep things of God?
Can you find out the limits of the Almighty?
vs. 8  They are higher than heaven- what can you do?
Deeper than Sheol- what can you know?
vs.9  Their measure is longer than the earth and deeper than the sea."

And I was thinking of the other passage that speaks of Height and Depth and Length and Width, and thinking about how grateful I am that though Zophar the Naamathite may not have known about God's limitless LOVE for His children, we have testaments, promises, and the ultimate sacrifice of our Savior Himself to remind us of His unceasing, unwavering, merciful, forgiving, perfect, redemptive LOVE for us.

"I pray....that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in LOVE, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height- to know the LOVE of Christ which passes all knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." Eph. 3:17-19

"How deep the Father's love for us, How vast beyond all measure,
That He should give His only Son, To make a wretch His treasure."
