All of the sisters and sisters-in-law, plus my dad's cousin

Sunday afternoon we had a lovely time with my dad's side of the family. One of my dad's aunts and her son were in town visiting from Florida. We don't see them very often, so combining that with Aunt Ruth's(grandma's younger sister) 85th birthday gave everyone a great reason to get together for more than just our yearly reunion at Christmas.

THINGS THAT KIDS SAY:

My favorite comment from that get together was from my cousin's four year old daughter, Annabelle. We were eating at the same table and having a good girly discussion about cute shoes, dresses and jewelry. She cocked her head, looked at me and then said, "Why you have a nail in your nose??" =-D
