Just a quick funny(I'll post pictures and details about Tapley's trip this weekend):
We stopped at a cafeteria on Tuesday for some apple blini(stuffed crepes) and cherry vareniki(dumplings). Tapley wanted some coffee, so I went up to the little coffee bar to order. Keep in mind that this is a tea drinking nation and that coffee shops haven't been around very long. Some of them have some fancier coffee drinks, but most just serve standard coffee, cappuccino, americano, etc. I really like iced coffee, so I asked if they had "Cold Coffee." The guy looked at me and responded, "No.......and we don't have hot ice cream, either." =-D Now, I have had an iced mocha at one place here, but obviously this guy had never heard of iced coffee. I loved his reply and that he thought he was being so witty.
