Easter

Easter was a lovely day of church followed by lots of time with friends. I had lunch with the Huffmans, followed by dinner with my training center roommate, Laura. The fellowship was great at both locations, filled with laughter, lots of conversation and games. I didn't have my camera along with me at the Huffmans, but we enjoyed an adult Easter egg hunt and an always amusing game of In A Pickle. Laura and her roommate, Michelle, presented a lovely dinner, with beautiful and thoughtful detail that made us all feel very special. There were five missionaries there and two couples who are here adopting children, for a total of nine adults, three children and one baby. It was loud and crazy at times, but just great. It was a wonderful day of celebrating the resurrection of our Lord!

My beautiful eggs in my new Polish pottery. They have the coolest egg wrappers here, that melt right onto the eggshell when placed in hot water.

It's a little tricky getting those wrappers off the shell, but aren't they lovely?

My place setting at Laura and Michell's Easter dinner

Tasty and colorful cookies

We played Easter bingo, a crossword puzzle with clues about everyone and then told the Easter story by reading different verses that were in the eggs at our place setting.

The beautiful table. Almost everything on the table was brought from the US. It was so lovely and made it feel like such a special event.
