Charlotte's Spring Fling, Pt. 1

Charlotte has been giving me a grand goodbye the last couple of weeks; with sunny blue skies, warm temperatures and the early blooming of many flowers and trees. It has made me so happy to be able to enjoy just a bit of the early Spring beauty of the South that I love so much. There are so many beautiful things in bloom right now, that I'm going to post the pictures in two parts. Enjoy!

Ornamental Cherry

One of my all time favorites: the Tulip Poplar

With Bradford Pears lining both sides of the street, Wendover Rd. is one of the most beautiful streets in Charlotte this time of year. This pictures does NOT do it justice. If you can, take a drive down Wendover. You won't regret it!
