**further disclaimer: this is only a joke........kind of. Our house is old and each of us kids grew up with a kitchen attached to our rooms. Will's kitchen has been the great storage/junk room for years and I've been working on organizing it. I just about had a heart attack this afternoon, when after working hours in Will's kitchen, I went into Abby's and opened one of her cabinets...only to find another 100 or so bottles. Sigh. I think this is the never ending organization project.

Oh me!! Don't worry, Will!! We are not dead yet!! We will NOT let her throw away your "childhood and adolescence"!!! But, at the time of our demise, you may have to come over here and protect your stuff!! Love (: Mom

Well, let's clarify what is happening. Part of your childhood is indeed being thrown away: the part that is in pieces. Anything whole and not crumbling is being kept and put in storage containers. One day someone will thank me for this. If it was up to me, I would get rid of 95% of your collection. But the sentimental owners of this house are insisting that one day you may actually come back and retrieve all of this. You should thank them for their sentimentality.

Anna, I'm not showing this to Will now, but when he sees it, you can expect death threats, visits from the mafia, etc.

so just FYI...jeremiah wouldn't be happy about any of that stuff being thrown away, either. pretty sure he actually would be quite delighted to give some of it a home. anything antique, really. whether it works or not. hmm...we can really go crazy one day when we have a bigger house. :) i know the feeling though...i did a LOT of throwing away in my room this summer but tried to keep the important items.
