Sat. Evening Post, 12/25, Christmas Edition

This was another super busy week: dinner with two friends, coffee with one of the girls who used to be in my Varsity small group, a birthday party, a baby shower for my best friend who is in town for a few days, coffee with her, her family Christmas party, breakfast with Taps and her husband, Matt, played uptown again, spent Christmas Eve with the Rosses.....plus various other things that came up this week. Again, I've just been so blessed to be here with my family and friends.

One of our Christmas morning traditions is for Dad to read a lot of different things about Christmas. The following is from one of the books that he read this morning:

Song of Great Joy

"Sound over all waters, reach out from all lands, The chorus of voices, the clasping of hands; Sing hymns that were sung by the stars of the morn; Sing songs of the angels when Jesus was born!

With glad jubilations bring hope to the nations! Rise, hope of the ages, arise like the sun; All speech flow to music, all hearts beat as one!

Sing the song of great joy that the angels began; Sing of glory to God and of good will to men!" -John Greenleaf Whittier

Merry Christmas to all.......and to all a good night!!

A WONDERFUL Christmas! We had such a nice time! And, a WHITE Christmas to boot!! Well, the REAL whiteness came overnight, but it STARTED on Christmas day, so that counts!! Love it!!
