Once again, my sister-in-law inspires me. They had a really rough evening yesterday, which she added to her list of thanksgiving in a really beautiful way. My last week was rough, but yet there were many lovely moments. And there were some difficult times which bring forth many reasons to be thankful. I am thankful for:
23.Waking up with a lot of congestion/allergies that went away w/in a couple of days
24.A good day at the university & a good discussion time at bible study that night
25.Really good discipleship/accountability meetings
26.A great time of rest and extra time with God that came as a result of being really sick with food poisoning(or something else).
27.The fact that there's really nothing wrong with my eye, even though the blood vessels burst and I look rather frightening.
28.A really encouraging time of street evangelism
29.Hearing the testimony and determination of young believers
30.The hope that I don't seem to have done serious damage to my hand when I stabbed myself last night. There is a lot of pain, numbness and tingling, but everything's working correctly, which was a huge concern for me.(my left “playing” hand).
31.My God, who is always good and is more than sufficient in my times of weakness.

Thank you for sharing these gifts! Jaan did sleep well last night, and things look much better here after some gratitude and sleep. :-) We're still praying for your hand.
Okay, I read the blog! I still don't really know what you did! Did you just stab the palm or what? I am glad to hear that it's doing better!! Love you, Mom
Yes, mom. I stabbed at least a half inch into the fatty part of my palm, hitting a nerve that controls feeling on the outside edge of my hand and the outside of my pinky. It's not 100% numb, but probably 90%. I have full range of motion, though, which makes me think that playing won't be too much of a problem.
