Saturday Evening Post, 10/16

Weather this week: sunny and pretty nice, going from fairly cold at the end of last week to mild and sunny today. High temps in the upper 50's.


Visit of the week: Maggie and Linda are here and staying with us! Maggie was our cook at the training center in MT and Linda serves in the IM home office in Clear Lake, IA. It has been great having them here!

Event of the week: FINALLY getting to go to the Odessa Opera House to see a ballet! I've tried three times before to go and things ended up happening so that I couldn't go. I don't know what ballets we saw, because we didn't have any programs, but they were two short ones that I had never seen before. The Opera House here is called the second most beautiful in all of Europe, so I'm going to devote another post to that in the next couple of days. I was quite impressed with the dancers, but not so much with the musicians. Overall impression- excellent experience for very little money. It was great.
