Are you ready to go?
This seems to be a popular question these days when people see me. Some mean it as, "Do you have everything you need and are you mentally prepared?" Whereas others mean it as, "Do you regret what you're about to do? Are you worried? Do you want to change your mind?", etc. It's kind of interesting to me to see people's reactions to what I'm about to do. It's almost as if they expect me to have the same fears and worries that they would have if they were facing this. But what they don't seem to understand is that this isn't a punishment. This has been a long process for me mentally, emotionally and spiritually and I'm thrilled to be at this point in my life. My answer is, "I'm ready. I'm ready in all ways. I have what I need physically, I'm completely ready and excited emotionally and I'm ready to continue to grow spiritually." I'm beyond excited about what is happening in my life right now and can't wait to take that next step.

Nicely put. Explaining 'why are you going THERE? ' is something that needs a lot of grace and wisdom as you answer.
My response was too often that I wasn't that much different than anyone else,(in any essential way: not super-spiritual, specially 'Called', etc) and the question should be not so much why am I going, but why couldn't it YOU going?!? 'o)
