Sat. Evening Post, 12/3

My last full week here in Odessa has truly been full. It included: hosting all of the Odessa staff here for a mtg. with the IM Pres., Thanksgiving lunch at church, a Ladies' Tea with the IM President's wife, final meetings with friends, the training center graduation, seeing students off at the train station, my personal mtg. with the pres. and his wife, taking her shopping, getting them back and forth to several different places, plus all of the normal weekly activities. Really, it's been a tremendous way to keep my mind focused on here, so that I don't "check out" mentally ahead of time. I fly out of here Wed. afternoon and will arrive in Charlotte late Thurs. morning. Unless something interesting comes up, the next time I write, it will be from the States! =-)
