Quite often during my prayer time, I use the acronym ACTSO to help me stay focused on what I'm praying about. It breaks my prayer time down into the following categories:
*Adoration
*Confession
*Thanksgiving
*Supplication
*Others
I've really enjoyed this method, because it helps my mind to stay very focused and not wander to everything else that's flying around in there. I love starting with the Adoration category, since it is a complete focus on God's attributes. In keeping with that, this morning I started a list of what He is to me. And again, I felt so refreshed and enouraged by starting my prayer time this way. Give it a try!

I remember learning that method of praying in high school! Only, it didn't have the O on the end. Very good!
I have been using Linda Dillow's "ABCs of worship" for quite awhile. It is especially good when I can't sleep! It focuses me and relaxes me to think on all that God is! Prayng for you and love you!
